Before you buy a machine

1. Pick the profiles first. List the panels or gutters your customers ask for, then choose the machine that runs them.
2. Check the coil. Each profile needs a set coil width and a gauge range. Ask us for the profile sheet and the coil it calls for.
3. Plan the feed. A decoiler sized to your coil weight and width saves time and protects the paint.
4. Plan power and space. Get the power requirements and the footprint before the machine arrives.
5. Ask what comes with it. Setup, training and warranty vary by manufacturer and model.
