The XLP Decoiler is a coil holder and pay-off reel for panel shops, trim shops and roll forming operators who run wide coil. The coil sits on an expanding mandrel and turns as metal is pulled into a roll former, slitter, shear or brake, so the operator does not have to fight a loose coil on the floor.
The listing rates it for a maximum coil weight of 5 tons and a maximum coil width of 48″, which covers full-width coil for trim and flat stock as well as most slit coil.
