About this product
The StanGroup Free Standing Wood Grain Embossing machine presses a woodgrain texture into flat prepainted metal strip. Trim shops, siding fabricators and roll forming operators use embossed stock for soffit, fascia, trim and siding profiles where a textured, wood-look surface is wanted. The texture is pressed into the strip before it is formed, so the finished part carries the pattern edge to edge.
StanGroup lists it as model 110001EMB14 for prepainted steel from 24 to 30 gauge and for aluminum. It runs at 30 ft/min on single-phase 220 V power, and the frame measures 35″ x 47″ x 45″ (L x W x H). Controls are simple, mounted on an electric box. StanGroup’s catalog describes its 14″ woodgrain machine with a 13″ maximum embossing width and 14″ maximum feed width, on 110 or 220 V single phase.
For wider stock and higher speeds, StanGroup also makes a 26″ embossing machine (110002EMB24), rated for 22 to 30 gauge steel at up to 90 ft/min on three-phase power with a VFD. Feed this machine from a decoiler in the catalog, such as the Manual Decoiler D200, and pair it with Aluminum Coil or Steel Coil slit to width. If you plan to emboss and then form, the SS4E Junior and other roll formers in the machines section can take the embossed strip.
