Manual roll bender RBM-10

About this product

The StanGroup RBM-10 is a hand-cranked roll bender for curving pipe, tube, bar and angle. Sheet metal, HVAC and ornamental shops use this kind of machine to roll rings and arcs, for example angle rings for round duct flanges, curved handrail or hoops for frames.

The body is heavy cast iron, machined to hold its tolerances, and a gear reducer gives the operator enough leverage to bend solid square bar up to 0.875″ and profiles up to about 4″ x 4″ (100 x 100 mm) overall. Because the face is open, a piece can be rolled into a complete circle and lifted off, and work length is not limited. StanGroup notes that a motor can be fitted.

Capacities and smallest rolled diameters listed by StanGroup:

• Pipe: 1″ schedule 40, 28″ minimum diameter
• Round tube: 1.25″ with .078″ wall, 31.5″
• Square tube: 1.25″ with .078″ wall, 35″
• Solid round: .875″, 20″
• Angle: 1.25″ with .157″ leg thickness, 30″

Roller options include multi-purpose standard rollers, adjustable rollers for square profile and flat bar up to 2.25″ wide, and urethane blank rollers for aluminum, copper and stainless work. StanGroup also makes custom rollers in aluminum, steel or urethane for a specific profile or diameter. Shafts are 1.181″ in diameter on 6.7″ centers, and shipping weight is about 435 lb, light enough to move around the shop on a pallet jack.
