About this product
The StanGroup Manual Decoiler DC500 is a manual reel for narrow coil that is heavy for its width, such as slit coil for downspout and gutter machines. StanGroup shows it alongside its downspout and elbow machinery, and it unwinds steel, aluminum and copper as well as non-metal coil.
StanGroup rates it for coils up to 4,000 lb and 16″ wide, on a 16″ to 21″ inside diameter. The reel is self-centering: you shrink it with a hand wrench to below the coil ID, set the coil on, then open it again with a wrench or an impact gun until the coil is held tight. Limiters on the reel paws keep the coil in place, and a friction brake controls the spin once the strip is being pulled. The stand is tall and square, about 48″ x 48″ x 80″, and weighs around 800 lb, so it needs a firm floor and a forklift for loading. StanGroup can customize the ID and OD range, or fit a motor, gearbox, belt drive and limit-switch start and stop for powered operation.
Use it in front of the Industrial downspout machine or the Industrial and portable Downspout Machine, or any gutter machine that takes coil up to 16″ wide. For lighter, wider coil, the Manual Decoiler D200 takes 26″. Load it with Aluminum Coil or Copper Coil slit for your downspout or gutter size.
It is available from our New Brunswick, NJ warehouse; call (732) 561-4275 to check stock, or add it to your quote.
