The NTM SSR MultiPro Jr. is New Tech Machinery’s smaller, electric multi-profile roof panel machine for residential work. NTM presents it as its most affordable way into portable rollforming, and it runs up to seven panel profiles, including mechanical seam, snap-lock and snap-lock with slotted flange, by swapping roller sets.
It runs on a 1.5 HP, 120 V single-phase motor (18 A, with a 220 V option), and NTM includes a 100 ft, 10 gauge, 20 A extension cord and a waterproof NEMA 4 electrical system. Polyurethane drive rollers, driven through chain and sprocket, move the panel at about 30 ft/min, and the forward-pulling manual shear is infinitely adjustable. Coil widths run from 15″ to 20″ for finished panels of 12″ to 16″, in painted steel and Galvalume from 28 to 24 gauge (50 ksi maximum at 24 gauge), .027″ to .040″ aluminum, or 16 to 20 oz copper. Standard equipment includes two 10 ft run-out tables, a dual overhead reel rack, one expandable arbor, the EZE-Change profile roller system with shear dies, and a pair of rib rollers in bead, pencil, striation or V-rib. The machine is 12’6″ long and 3’10” wide, and weighs about 1,715 lb with roller set and rib rollers.
NTM covers it with a limited three-year parts warranty that includes NTM in-house labor.
