Downspout and elbow machines
An industrial downspout machine, an industrial and portable downspout machine, an automatic downspout elbow machine, an electric round and square downspout elbow machine and a manual goffering elbow machine. Together they cover downspout and elbows made in the shop instead of bought by the box.
Choosing a gutter machine
- Size. 5-inch K-style is the common residential size. 6-inch carries more water off larger roofs and commercial buildings. A combo machine runs both with a changeover.
- Transport. Gutter machines usually ride in a truck or trailer. Plan the mounting and the run-out space before delivery.
- Coil width. Each machine calls for a set coil width. Ask for the figure before you order coil, so the first gutter comes out right.
- Gauge. .032″ aluminum is a common gutter gauge. Check the machine’s rated range for steel and copper if you plan to run them.
- Downspouts. If you hang a lot of gutter, a downspout or elbow machine lets you make outlets and elbows to order.
Keep it fed
Buy the machine and the aluminum coil it runs at one counter. Gutter crews also use WUKO benders and seaming pliers for ends, miters and outlets.

5-inch K-style is the most common residential size, so many crews start there or buy a 5″/6″ combo machine.
Can a K-style machine run copper?
Some can, within their rated range. Check the product page or ask us before you buy copper coil for it.
