About this product
The NTM BG7 Box Gutter Machine makes 7″ commercial box gutter on site, for contractors on commercial and industrial jobs that call for a box gutter rather than residential K-style. It forms two profiles on the same machine: BG7-SB7 with a straight back and BG7-HK7 with a hook.
The BG7 is built to run either steel or aluminum, and you choose which before it is built: Grade 50 steel from 26 to 22 gauge, or .040″ painted aluminum. Both profiles start from 20″ coil. Hydraulically driven polyurethane rollers move the material at about 60 ft/min, and a hydraulic shear with hardened tool steel blades and dies cuts each length. A limit switch controls length, and NTM adds a gutter recognition safety system and a power interruption safety circuit. Run and jog buttons are fitted at both ends of the machine. Power is NTM’s Quick-Change Power-Pack, gas or electric. The base machine is 17’10” long and 4’10-1/2″ wide and weighs about 2,600 lb with roller set, power pack and rib rollers; mounted on NTM’s trailer it is 21′ long and about 4,800 lb.
NTM covers the BG7 with a limited three-year parts warranty that includes NTM in-house labor. Feed it Steel Coil or Aluminum Coil slit to 20″, in the gauge your job specifies. For residential K-style gutter, see the NTM MACH II gutter machines, which run 5″ and 6″ profiles.
