Services

Help beyond the counter: coil slit to width, coil cut to length, material takeoffs and shop drawings. Call us to confirm what fits your job before you order.

Confirmed job by job. Sizes, tolerances, minimum quantities, turnaround and prices for every service are confirmed by phone before you order. Call (732) 561-4275.

Product advice at the counter

Not sure which gauge, profile, clip or machine fits a job? Call or stop by during counter hours and talk it through before you buy. Bring the plans, photos or a sample of the existing metal. We can help you compare coil, clips, underlayment and tools for the job in front of you.

For larger projects, ask whether a visit to the job site is possible.

How to request a service

  1. Call or send a quote. Describe the service, the metal, gauge, color and quantities.
  2. Attach what you have. Plans, a cut list, a takeoff or a photo of the coil tag.
  3. Get it confirmed. We confirm what’s possible, the timing and the price on a written quote.
  4. Pick up or get it delivered. Processed material goes out like any other order.

Which service do I need?

  • Slitting changes the width of a coil.
  • Cut-to-length cuts coil into flat pieces of set lengths.
  • Estimating works out what to order.
  • Shop drawings show how it all goes together for approval.

Many jobs use more than one. A standing seam job might start with an estimate, need shop drawings for the architect, then order coil slit for the roll former.

Questions

Do services cost extra?

Ask us. Any charge for processing, estimating or drawings is shown on your written quote before you commit.

How long does processing take?

It depends on the material and the queue. Call for today’s turnaround.

Can you process coil I bought somewhere else?

Call and ask. It depends on the coil and the work.

Do processed orders have a minimum?

Minimums depend on the service and the material. We confirm them on the phone.

Plan quantities first with the metal roofing calculators, or browse coil and sheet to process.
