StanGroup’s Half Round Gutter Machines form seamless half round gutter from coil, for gutter contractors who want to offer half round in continuous lengths instead of joining stock sections. The series covers six configurations: 5″, 6″ or 5/6″ combo, each with a single bead or a double bead.
The forming rollers are hardened and chrome plated, and they float freely rather than being driven, while dedicated polyurethane rollers do the pulling. StanGroup says this lets the machine run a wide range of materials with little or no adjustment. It handles aluminum, copper, and painted or galvanized steel up to 26 gauge, provided the steel is standard roll-forming quality with low tensile strength. All three sizes share a 1.5 HP motor, a speed of about 30 ft/min (StanGroup also gives 25 to 33 ft/min), push-button controls at the entry and exit ends with a jog function, factory-set forming rollers and a tubular steel frame. The machine is about 14′ long, and the reel stand holders are mounted independently on a turnstile.
StanGroup’s options include 220 V/50 Hz wiring, an extra reel holder and reels, a saw table, run-out stands and an aluminum diamond-plate top. To finish the system, the Industrial downspout machine makes 3″ and 4″ round pipe and the Manual goffering elbow machine makes round elbows. Run it with Copper Coil, Aluminum Coil or Steel Coil in gutter widths.
