The StanGroup SS4E-PRO is the step up in StanGroup’s SS4E family: a portable roll former with interchangeable tooling, for roofers and siding contractors who want one frame for several panel types. Tooling rollers swap out, so you can order extra sets as your work grows, and StanGroup offers custom profile designs.

StanGroup lists SS4E-PRO tooling for standing seam and snap-lock roof panels, and stock tooling for board and batten, under-deck and flush wall or soffit panels, with V-rib and pencil rib options. Finished panels run from 12″ to 24″ wide, from material 15″ to 28″ wide; the exact range depends on the seam size and the rollers installed. Six urethane drive rollers pull the strip through free-floating, chrome-plated forming rollers. Two sets of bead rollers, convertible to two striation ribs, and clip relief rollers are included. The standard cutoff is a manual shear at the exit end, with electric or hydraulic shear drives as options. A limit switch controls length, or you can add a PLC batch controller with a 10″ touchscreen, and a wireless control handles forward, reverse, start and stop. Speed runs from 25 to 70 ft/min depending on the drive: the standard 1.5 hp single-phase motor, a 3 kW 220 V variable-speed drive in single or three phase, or hydraulic drive with a Honda gas engine.

Options include a dual overhead reel rack, expandable arbor reels, a single arbor reel stand, an 18 oz tarp cover and trailer mounting. In this catalog, the Manual Decoiler SS4EDC and the Standing seam roof panel curving machine fit the same work. Run it with Steel Coil or Aluminum Coil.
