The StanGroup Double Side Hemming Flange Roll-former is a shop machine that forms hems and flanges on both edges of a strip at the same time. Sheet metal fabricators, trim shops and panel makers use it to put a finished, safe edge on flashing, trim, wall panel and cap stock without running each edge through a brake.
StanGroup, the Manitoba-based maker of roll forming machinery, lists it under article number 120001HM for galvanized, painted and stainless steel and for aluminum. It is electrically driven and can run on its own or inline with a roll-forming or slitting line, so strip comes off a slitter or decoiler already hemmed.
