NTM Roll Formers & Gutter Machines in New Jersey

New Tech Machinery (NTM) builds portable roll formers that make metal roof panels, wall panels and gutters at the job site. This page lists every NTM roll former and gutter machine in our New Jersey catalog. The painted coil to feed them comes from the same counter in New Brunswick.

About New Tech Machinery

NTM was founded in Denver in 1991 and is now based in Aurora, Colorado, with a second plant in Hermosillo, Mexico. It calls itself an independent American manufacturer that designs, engineers and builds its machines in-house.

A portable machine travels to the job on a trailer and runs each panel to the length the roof needs. There are no long panels to haul, and a crew can run one more panel when a measurement changes.

NTM machines in the catalog

  • SSQ II MultiPro: a roof and wall panel machine. NTM lists 16 profiles for the SSQ, including snap-lock, mechanical seam, flush wall and soffit, and board and batten panels.
  • SSH MultiPro: NTM’s roof panel machine for residential and light commercial work, with seven mechanical seam, snap-lock and T-panel profiles.
  • SSR MultiPro Jr.: the entry point to the NTM range. It runs up to seven mechanical seam and snap-lock profiles from coil 15″ to 20″ wide.
  • 5VC-5V Crimp: forms three 5V crimp exposed fastener roof panel profiles.
  • WAV: makes commercial wall panels in 16″, 12″ and 8″ widths, with fastener flange or clip attachment.
  • MACH II: K-style gutter machines in 5″, 6″ and 5″/6″ combo versions.
  • BG7: a 7″ commercial box gutter machine, set up for steel or for aluminum when it is ordered.

Gauges, coil widths and profiles

Each NTM machine has its own rated range. NTM rates the SSH MultiPro for painted steel from 28 to 24 gauge and painted aluminum from .027″ to .040″, fed from coil 14″ to 24″ wide. The 5VC runs 24″, 27″ and 27-1/2″ coil. The MACH II runs .019″ to .032″ aluminum for gutter.

NTM updates its profile lists over time, and it now lists the SSQ3 MultiPro as the newest version of the SSQ. Check the range and the profile sheet for the exact machine before you order coil for it.

Keep the machine fed

Tell us the machine and the profile with every coil order, and we check the width against the profile sheet. Painted aluminum and steel are on the coil and sheet page. The panels-per-coil calculator shows how many panels one coil makes. A decoiler sized to your coil keeps it feeding straight.

Questions

Which NTM machine suits a residential roofing crew?

NTM calls the SSR MultiPro Jr. its most affordable way into portable rollforming. The SSH MultiPro adds a T-panel profile and suits residential and light commercial work. Crews that also want wall and soffit panels usually look at the SSQ.

Is the SSQ II the same machine as the SSQ3?

The SSQ3 is NTM’s newer version. NTM lists the same 16 profiles for both, with faster tooling changes on the SSQ3. Ask which version a quote covers.

Does an NTM machine come with a trailer?

NTM sells trailers separately for several models. Ask what is included with the model you choose before you order.

Can I see an NTM machine before I buy?

Send a machine demo request with the model and a day that suits you. We reply to confirm whether it can be seen in person, and when.

Compare NTM with StanGroup roll formers on the roof and wall panel roll formers page. Close mechanical seams with an ESE power seamer, and see more gutter equipment on the gutter and downspout machines page.
