This policy explains what information Northeast Metal Supplies collects through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. Effective date: to be set at launch.

Information you give us
We collect what you enter in our forms:
- Quote requests: name, company, phone, email, reply preference, language, job details, delivery ZIP code and the items on your quote.
- Contact form: name, contact details and your message.
- Credit application: business details, contacts, references and tax certificates.
- Warranty registration: coil tag numbers, install date, contractor and installer names, job address and roof details.
- Damaged material claims: order details, a description of the problem and photos.
- Online checkout, for items with a published price: billing and delivery details. Card payments are handled by our payment processor. We don’t store full card numbers.
Files you upload
You can attach plans, takeoffs and photos, such as a coil tag or a profile, to a quote or a claim. Uploads are stored in a private area of our site that the public can’t reach. We use them only to prepare your quote or handle your claim, and we keep them with the order records.
Phone calls and email
We reply to quote requests and messages by phone call or email, the way you choose on the form. We do not send text messages. We use your phone number and email only to answer your request and handle your order, never for anyone else’s marketing.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity to understand how the site is used, so we can improve it. They load after you first interact with a page.
- Google Analytics 4 records pages viewed, the page you came from, your general location and actions such as adding to a quote, sending a quote or tapping the phone number.
- Microsoft Clarity records clicks, scrolling and page layout to create heatmaps and session replays.
We configure Clarity to mask text typed into form fields. Both services may set cookies, described below.
Cookies and local storage
- Needed cookies keep checkout and security working.
- Local storage keeps your quote list on your device, so it’s still there when you come back. It is not sent to us until you send the quote.
- Analytics cookies from Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity measure visits.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site still works without analytics cookies.
Spam protection
Our forms use a hidden field and may use Cloudflare Turnstile to block automated spam. Turnstile checks signals from your browser when you submit a form.
How we use information
- To answer quotes and messages, and to process orders, deliveries and returns.
- To review credit applications and manage accounts.
- To register warranties and handle claims.
- To keep the site secure and improve it.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting duties.
Sharing
We share information only with service providers that help us run the business, such as website hosting, email delivery, analytics, payment processing, spam protection and freight carriers. We also share it when the law requires, or as part of a sale of the business. We don’t sell your personal information.
How long we keep it
We keep information as long as we need it for the reasons above, and longer where tax, accounting or legal rules require it.
Security
We use HTTPS, limit who can see form data and uploads, and keep our software up to date. No system is perfectly secure, so please don’t send sensitive data you don’t need to.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. You can also opt out of texts and marketing email at any time. If the New Jersey Data Privacy Act applies to us, New Jersey residents also have the rights it gives, including data portability and opting out of sale, targeted advertising and profiling. We aim to honor reasonable requests from any customer. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we respond within 45 days. If we decline a request, you can appeal by replying to our answer.
Children
This site is for businesses and adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy, we post the new version here with a new effective date.
