About this product
Painted aluminum coil is the raw stock roofers, siding crews and sheet metal shops run through a panel machine or bend on a brake to make standing seam roofs, fascia wraps, drip edge and custom flashing. Aluminum does not rust, which is why it shows up on coastal jobs and on details where a cut edge stays exposed.
We list it in three thicknesses: .032″, .040″ and .050″. Standard widths are 20″, 24″ and 48″, with 11.625″, 11.75″ and 16″ as special-order widths and custom widths on request, since slitting and cut-to-size coil are part of what our shop does. Finish options are PVDF (Kynar 500), SMP, polyester, crinkle and Tedlar film. Kynar 500 is Arkema’s PVDF resin, and licensed paint makers must use it for at least 70 percent of the resin in the finish; Tedlar is a DuPont PVF film laminated to the metal rather than a paint. Colors run from Regal White, Almond and Sandstone through Dark Bronze, Charcoal Gray and Hartford Green to metallics such as Champagne Metallic.
The .032″ coil is the easiest to fold by hand and on a trim brake; .040″ and .050″ make a stiffer panel and help keep wide pans flat. For flat stock instead of coil, the same metal comes as 48″ x 120″ Aluminum Sheet.
Coil orders often go out with a Van Mark Coil Cradle or the Van Mark CD24 Coil Dispenser for unrolling on site, plus Black Rivets, Butyl Tape and Sherwin-Williams Ready Match Touch Up in the same color.

Yes. Custom widths are an option on this item and slitting is one of our shop services. Give us the width, gauge, color and footage and we will price it.
