About this product
The NTM WAV is New Tech Machinery’s wall panel machine for WAV-style profiles, for wall panel installers and fabricators who want to produce panels at the building or in their own plant. It forms 8″, 12″ and 16″ coverage profiles, each with either a fastener flange or clip-style attachment.
All three widths run in 22 or 24 gauge Grade 50 painted steel, Galvalume or coated galvanized; the 16″ WAV-16-4 profile can also be made in .032″ or .040″ aluminum. Coil for the standard 16-4 profile is 24″ wide, and NTM publishes coil widths for the other profiles on its drawings. Power is a 16 HP gas engine and/or 460 V three-phase electric, and speed reaches up to 150 ft/min on electric or 75 ft/min on gas. Twenty-five polyurethane drive rollers, driven hydraulically through chain, sprocket and gear, move the panel, and a hydraulic shear with a panel-recognition proximity sensor cuts it. The UNIQ Automatic Control System, a computer batch and length controller, is included. The shortest flat sheet the machine will feed is 62″ (1,575 mm). This is a large machine, 22’8″ long, 5’1″ wide and about 5,000 lb, or about 8,700 lb on its trailer, and NTM offers several trailer options or an in-plant stand.
NTM includes setup and training at your site anywhere in the continental U.S., and covers the machine with a limited three-year parts warranty with NTM in-house labor. Feed it Steel Coil or Aluminum Coil, and ask us about coil widths for the 8″ and 12″ profiles.
