About this product

Van Mark’s 10’6″ Metal Master 20 Heavy-Duty (model MM1061) is a full-length, deep-throat brake for roofing and siding contractors who need 26 gauge steel capacity. It bends 10-foot pieces in one pass and reaches 20″ in from the edge of the sheet.

That combination covers a lot of roof and exterior work: wide gable and rake trim, eave and drip edge, wide valley flashing, sidewall flashing, ridge and hip caps on residential metal roofs, and wide fascia and frieze wraps. Van Mark rates the Heavy-Duty for:

  • Painted steel (Grade D) and galvanized: 26 gauge
  • Aluminum (3003-H14): .032″
  • Roofing copper: 32 oz soft
  • Zinc: .040″ soft; 304L stainless: 26 gauge

At this length Van Mark adds dual bending handles so the hinge lifts evenly from both ends. Five 60 Series castings clamp through the cam-lock, the Power Lock bar holds the full edge and opens to a 150-degree bending radius, and the POWERslot hinge auto-measures a 5/8″ hem. The brake weighs 174 lb.

Stands are sold separately. The 20″ throat needs Van Mark’s 20″ stands, such as the UniStand EZ-GO USA2EZ or the Unistand Adjustable in its USA2 version. A Van Mark CD24 Coil Dispenser keeps trim coil under control while you work. Available from our New Brunswick, NJ warehouse. To check stock, call (732) 561-4275 or add it to your quote.
