The UniLeg 2 is the 20″-throat version of Van Mark’s UniLeg leg kit, made for the Metal Master 20 family. Van Mark lists it as a steel frame leg kit for the Metal Master 20, and it is not interchangeable with the 14″-throat UniLeg 1.
Like the UNL1, it is a two-piece kit of 100% welded steel frames with a tough powder-coat finish. One person can set it up with no tools, and T-knob handles lock the brake to the legs. When the job is done, the frames come off and lay flat for transport and storage. There are no wheels, which keeps the kit simple.
Van Mark’s compatibility chart lists the UNL2 for the Metal Master 20 from the 2′ MM260 through the 12’6″ MM1260, and for the Metal Master 20 Heavy Duty from 6’6″ through 10’6″ (MM661, MM861, MM1061). The 12’6″ and 14’6″ Heavy Duty models use UniStands instead. The Industrial Metal Master 20EZ ships with its own EZ-Go stand. For 14″-throat brakes, use the UniLeg 1 (UNL1).
If you need to roll the brake around the site, the UniStand 2 EZ-Go (USA2EZ) or a 3035 Wheel Kit adds mobility. Pair the UNL2 with a Metal Master 20 brake from the catalog. It is made in the USA, and Van Mark covers it with a 1-year limited warranty against defects in material or workmanship. No. Van Mark's chart lists special-order XL UniStands for the MM1461, not the UniLeg 2.
Can I use the UniLeg 2 on a Mark II TrimMaster?
No. The Mark II has a 14" throat and takes the UniLeg 1.
