Van Mark – CD24 Coil Dispenser

A loose roll of trim coil on the ground gets scuffed, unwinds and catches the wind. The Van Mark Coil Dispenser (CD24) keeps it under control. The roll sits on two non-marring rollers and a quick-release tension roller holds it tight, so the coil stays wound while you pull off just the length you need and feed it straight into the brake.

It is free standing, not bolted to the brake, so it sets up wherever it is handy and works with most brakes, saw tables and slitters. Van Mark designed it to work with the TrimCutter and QuickScore: feed the coil out over the brake, cut it to length with the TrimCutter, and the piece is ready to bend. Van Mark says it pays for itself by cutting down on coil damage, since coil held on the dispenser is protected from wind and from unraveling.

Van Mark’s compatibility chart lists the CD24 for every brake line it makes, from the Trim-A-Brake II through the Mark I Series, Mark II TrimMaster, Metal Master 20, Mark IV Industrial TrimMaster and Industrial Metal Master 20EZ. Most of its hardware is standard nuts and bolts, so field repairs are simple.
