The Mark II TrimMaster Heavy-Duty is the TrimMaster for crews that bend steel as well as aluminum. Van Mark lists it for residential siding, roofing and window work, and the TM6HD-S is the 6’6″ model, a handy size for roofing flashings and trim pieces up to six feet.

The Heavy-Duty grade steps up from the Pro-Grade in clamping and capacity. This 6’6″ model has five castings where the Pro-Grade 6’6″ has three, and Van Mark rates it for 26 gauge Grade D painted steel, 26 gauge galvanized, 32 oz soft copper, .040″ soft zinc and 26 gauge 304L stainless, along with .032″ 3003-H14 aluminum. That covers step and counterflashing, chimney crickets, roof-to-wall flashings and drip edge in 26 gauge steel.

The working parts are shared with the rest of the TrimMaster line: Van Mark’s cam-lock with aluminum cam and UHMW wedge, dual base rails, a Power Lock bar with a 150-degree bending radius and AccuTrack rails, and a POWERslot hinge that auto-measures a 5/8″ hem. Handles are full-loop with foam grips. The throat is 14″ and the brake weighs 98 lb.
