The 14’6″ Metal Master 20 Heavy-Duty, Van Mark model MM1461, is the longest model in the Metal Master 20 line; Van Mark does not make the Pro-Grade at this length. It is for contractors running long rake, eave, ridge and fascia trims in 26 gauge steel or .032″ aluminum who want each run in one piece, with 20″ of throat for wide profiles.

One-piece trims on a long eave mean no laps to seal and straighter sight lines. To keep a 14-foot bend true, Van Mark gives this model seven 60 Series castings and dual bending and locking handles, so the clamp and lift are even end to end. The Power Lock bar holds the full bending edge and opens to a 150-degree radius; the POWERslot hinge auto-measures a 5/8″ hem; and the cam-lock clamps without re-setting between materials.

Van Mark ratings for the Heavy-Duty grade:

• 26 gauge Grade D painted steel and 26 gauge galvanized
• .032″ 3003-H14 aluminum
• 32 oz soft copper and .040″ soft zinc
• 26 gauge 304L stainless

The brake weighs 240 lb, so plan a two-person setup. Stands are sold separately. Van Mark does not recommend folding legs or the UniLeg 2 for brakes over 12 feet, so use a 20″ throat UniStand such as the UniStand EZ-GO USA2EZ.
