About this product

The Malco M14N is the 14″ Andy pattern snip, the long-reach member of the family, used by siding and trim crews for long straight cuts, mild curves and stacked layers in vinyl siding, aluminum trim coil, copper and light sheet metal. “Aluminum” in the name refers to the aluminum handle frame.

Malco rates it for .055″ vinyl, .035″ aluminum, .023″ copper, 24 gauge mild and galvanized steel and 26 gauge stainless. Each stroke takes a 3-1/4″ bite, a little more than the 12″ models, and the snip weighs 20 oz. It has larger handle loops and a sleek head, and the inset blades are pressure-fit and can be swapped with a wrench and a #2 Phillips screwdriver (replacement blade M14NRB). Malco shows it with a Made in USA badge.

Choose the M14N when you are making long cuts all day and want fewer strokes per foot. The 12″ Malco M12A (classic loops) and M12NG (comfort grips) are lighter and handier in tight spots. Note that Malco’s Andy Classic 14″ is a different model, the M14A. For heavier steel or tight radius work, use an aviation snip such as the Malco AV3 or AV6.

Malco covers the M14N under its Limited Lifetime Warranty.

It is available from our New Brunswick, NJ warehouse; call (732) 561-4275 to check stock, or add it to your quote.
