About this product
The ESE Drip Edge Bender is a hand tool from Engineered Sheet-metal Equipment (ESE) of Coatesville, Pennsylvania, used by standing seam roofers to fold the drip, the hemmed end at the bottom of a panel, right on the roof or at the cutting table. Instead of carrying each panel to a brake, you fold a consistent drip at the eave end so the panel locks over the edge trim.
ESE makes the tool in the USA in 12″, 16″, 18″ and 20″ widths, so you can match it to the panel widths you run. Because it folds the drip by hand, it works at the eave or at the cutting table with no power and no setup, and every panel end comes out the same. Ask us how the fold depth is set on this tool when you order.
ESE also makes a Bread Pan tool, and its True 90 and True 180 edge rollers for bending and hemming panel edges along their length. For seaming, the ESE K9 Double Lock Power Seamer and the ESE Finish Hand Seamer 180 Degree are the matching ESE tools in this catalog, and the Masc Nibbler notches the seam legs before you fold the drip. It works with panels run from Steel Coil or Aluminum Coil.
