The UniStand Adjustable gives a Van Mark brake a solid steel base with wheels, so the brake can be rolled around the job and set at a comfortable height. This listing is the USA1, for 14″-throat brakes; 20″-throat Metal Master brakes take the USA2.

The legs adjust to the height of the user, which is easier on your back over a long day of bending. Quick-lock T-knobs lock and unlock the brake from the stand without tools, and the frame breaks down into four pieces to pack flat in a truck or trailer. The wheels make it easy to move the brake anywhere on the jobsite.

Van Mark’s compatibility chart lists the USA1 for the Mark I Series and Mark II TrimMaster from 6’6″ through 12’6″ (M6-S to M12-S, TM6-S to TM12-S) and the Mark II TrimMaster Heavy Duty from 6’6″ through 12’6″. The 14’6″ Heavy Duty takes a special-order USA1XL, and the shorter 2′ and 4’6″ brakes use the UniLeg or folding legs instead. It is not listed for the Trim-A-Brake II.

For moving a long brake through tight passages between houses, the UniStand EZ-GO with its center wheel is the alternative. Pair the USA1 with a Mark II TrimMaster or Mark I Series brake, a TrimCutter and a CD24 Coil Dispenser. It is made in the USA, and Van Mark covers it with a 1-year limited warranty.
