About this product
The S24B is Van Mark’s 24″ Trim-A-Slitter on a 1.5″ arbor, the B model in the range and the lightest Trim-A-Slitter at 56 lb. Siding, window and residential roofing crews set it up beside the brake to cut 24″ trim coil into fascia, soffit, flashing and window-wrap strips with a straight, clean edge.
Slitting instead of scoring has a second benefit: Van Mark notes that scoring aluminum with a utility knife on the brake can, over time, damage the bending hinge. With the slitter, the coil goes through the knives and comes out at width, ready for the brake.
It runs by hand, so no power is needed on site. Four double-sided hardened steel knives are standard, giving two cuts per pass, and they reposition in seconds. Shift the knives to roll a stiffening rib that keeps wide fascia flat. The folding feed table with roller guides squares the coil, and the body is anodized aluminum.
B-model accessories are specific to the 1.5″ arbor. What is the difference between B and C models?
B models, like the S24B, have a 1.5" arbor; C models have a 2" arbor. Knives and perforator dies are specific to each arbor size.
Can I motorize it?
