About this product
The TAT50 is the original Trim-A-Table, the siding saw table Van Mark has built for more than 40 years. It is made for cutting vinyl siding, fiber cement, soffit and other siding materials accurately on the job, including the angled cuts needed to match a roof pitch.
A circular saw rides in a saw track on an adjustable 5′ boom above the table. The track fully captures 7″ to 8″ saws (saw not included), and it is recessed so the blade never cuts the tabletop, with material supported on both sides of the blade. A dual-scale protractor reads in degrees and in roof pitch, left and right, and memory stops let you swing the boom away and return to the same angle without resetting. Material stops set repeat lengths, a rear fence adjusts or comes off for wide stock, and built-in tape measures speed setup. Van Mark notes the boom cuts down to a 2/12 pitch on 8″ double-lap siding.
Deck extensions support material up to 18′ long, and the table folds to 8′ and breaks down so one person can move it. Legs are not included; the matching set is the Steel Folding Legs for Trim-A-Table (part 3001).
The TAT60 is the next step up, with a 6′ boom and sliding deck extensions for wider material. Pair the TAT50 with the 3001 legs and a 7-1/4″ circular saw. Is the saw included?
No. Van Mark sells the TAT50 without a saw or legs; it holds 7" to 8" circular saws.
TAT50 or TAT60?
The TAT60 adds a 6' boom, sliding deck extensions and quick drop-in saw tracks for wider materials. The TAT50 uses a 5' boom.
