Van Mark – Slitter Knives for C Models

The 5035 is the slitter knife for Van Mark’s C model Trim-A-Slitters, the heavier machines built on 2″ arbor shafts. Van Mark’s current C models are the 24″ S24C, the 36″ S36C and the 48″ S48CB, and the 2″ shaft is also used on the Industrial Slitter Combo and the Trim-A-Slitter Perf Package.

Each slitter comes from Van Mark with four knives, which gives two cuts per pass. Buy extra 5035 knives to replace worn ones or to expand what the slitter does in one pass: two knives (one upper, one lower) for each additional cut, and three for each additional rib. With enough knives a C model can make two simultaneous slits, a slit and a rib together, or two ribs facing up. The knives are hardened, double-sided, precision ground and polished, and brass-tipped set screws hold them in position on the arbor.

C model slitters can also take the 3578 Booster Block and the 3582 Capacity Booster, which support the arbors and keep them from spreading when you cut heavier material. Van Mark lists Trim-A-Slitter slitting capacity at .040″ aluminum, 24 gauge galvanized or Grade D painted steel, 24 oz copper and .040″ zinc.

The 5035 does not fit B model slitters with 1.5″ arbors; those take the 5034. Van Mark covers it with a 1-year limited warranty. It is available from our New Brunswick, NJ warehouse; call (732) 561-4275 to check stock, or add it to your quote.
