About this product

The 6’6″ Mark II TrimMaster Pro-Grade (Van Mark model TM6-S) is a mid-size siding and trim brake for remodelers who want the TrimMaster’s hem and clamp in a compact size. It weighs 85 lb.

Remodeling crews use this length for window and patio-door capping, porch beam and column wraps, short fascia sections, and soffit returns. Van Mark designs the TrimMaster to go from simple flashing to complex outside corner posts without re-adjusting the brake, and the 14″ throat covers the depth those profiles need.

Three features do most of the work. The cam-lock clamp, an aluminum cam pressing a UHMW polyethylene wedge, holds the coil without slipping. The Power Lock bar applies even pressure along the bending edge and gives a 150-degree bending radius for over-bends and hems. The POWERslot hinge measures a 5/8″ hem for you, so J-channel pockets come out the same every time. The brake bends a full 180 degrees.

Capacity, per Van Mark, is .032″ 3003-H14 aluminum, 29 gauge painted and galvanized steel, 24 oz soft copper, .032″ soft zinc and 29 gauge 304L stainless. The brake has three castings. A stand is not included: the UniStand EZ-GO (USA1EZ), UniLeg 1 and Steel Folding Legs for Mark I and Mark II all fit 14″ throat brakes. Add the Van Mark TrimCutter to slit coil on the brake.
