The 8’6″ Metal Master 20 Pro-Grade, Van Mark model MM860, gives siding and residential roofing crews a 20″ throat in a length that takes a full 8-foot sheet. The Pro-Grade is the lighter of the two Metal Master 20 grades.

This length is a practical pick for crews who cut trim from 8-foot stock or work on porches, dormers and additions. The deep throat handles wide fascia covers, deep window and door capping, frieze board wraps and wide flashings, and the 8’6″ bed bends them full length. The brake weighs 122 lb.

Van Mark’s 60 Series castings, three on this model, work with the cam-lock clamp to hold the coil, and the Power Lock bar presses evenly along the bending edge. The POWERslot hinge sizes a 5/8″ hem without measuring, giving the tighter J-channel pocket used with vinyl siding and fiber cement. The full-loop bending handle connects to the hinge at several points, so one person can make an even bend on an 8-foot piece.

Ratings from Van Mark for the Pro-Grade: .027″ 3003-H14 aluminum, 29 gauge painted or galvanized steel, 24 oz soft copper, .032″ soft zinc and 29 gauge 304L stainless. Stands are sold separately; the 20″ throat UniStand EZ-GO (USA2EZ) suits this length. Add the Van Mark Coil Cradle 24″ to feed trim coil and the Quickscore for scoring.
