The Mark IV Industrial TrimMaster is Van Mark’s industrial-grade brake with a 14″ throat. It is meant for metal roofing and architectural sheet metal work, in the shop or on the roof deck, and Van Mark’s headline for it is bending and hemming 24, 26 and 29 gauge painted steel on site. The IT6-S is the 6’6″ model, the one to pick when your pieces are short and you want the industrial clamp at the lowest weight in the series.

Short-piece work suits this length: chimney and step flashing, counterflashing, pipe and curb flashings, end closures, coping corners and transition pieces. A 14″ throat reaches the center of a 28″ sheet, which covers most flashing blanks.

What makes it industrial is the clamp and the capacity. Seven castings, each with its own adjustable UHMW wedge, clamp to the actual thickness of the metal rather than a factory preset. Non-marring vinyl strips protect painted finishes, and the POWERslot hinge sizes a 5/8″ hem automatically. Van Mark rates it for .050″ aluminum, 24 gauge Grade D painted steel, 20 gauge galvanized, 36 oz soft copper, .050″ soft zinc and 24 gauge 304L stainless. It weighs 144 lb, and the included Xtreme Stand sets up with six fast pins.
