The Trim-A-Slitter Perf Combo (Van Mark model SCI24HD) is built for contractors who make their own vented parts. With it you can slit, rib-form and perforate roofing steel, aluminum, zinc and copper on site or in the shop, and turn plain coil into perforated Z-bar, ridge cap vents and vented soffit.

The heart of the combo is a heavy-duty, high-torque 110-volt motor with an oil-bath, gear-reduction transmission. It is reversible and has a motor-mounted on/off switch; Van Mark offers an optional foot pedal so both hands stay on the metal. The 2″ arbor shaft adds strength and duty cycle for perforating work.

The heavy-duty perforating die set is designed for continuous running in 24 gauge steel or .032″ aluminum. It makes a lanced perforation with about 3.3 square inches of net free area per running foot, and it works with a material stripper that releases painted or plastic-coated metal from the dies. Four double-sided slitting knives give two cuts per pass, and adjustable feed guides with aluminum rollers square each sheet before it enters.

This package includes the 24″ slitter, the heavy-duty motor, a stand, four knives and the heavy-duty perforating die set; Van Mark pairs it with the UniStand EZ. The combo weighs 188 lb.
