About this product
The Industrial Metal Master 20 EZ is Van Mark’s industrial-grade portable brake with a 20″ throat, built for roofers and sheet metal shops that bend painted steel every day. The 6’6″ IM665 is the compact end of the line, a good fit for a fabrication bench or a crew that mostly turns out chimney flashings, counterflashing, short valley sections and HVAC plenum transitions.
A 20″ throat lets you put a bend well into a wide sheet, so W-style valley pans, wide hip and ridge caps and tall rake trims fit without a splice. Clamping is Van Mark’s cam-lock: an aluminum cam presses a UHMW polyethylene wedge, each clamping station uses two castings, and twin base rails keep the brake from twisting under load. The POWERslot hinge sets a 5/8″ hem on its own, and the Power Lock bar opens to a 150-degree bending radius, which makes closing a hem to 180 degrees easier.
Van Mark rates it for .050″ aluminum (3003-H14), 24 gauge Grade D painted steel, 20 gauge galvanized, 36 oz soft copper, .050″ soft zinc and 24 gauge 304L stainless. At 217 lb it is the lightest model in the series, and the included Master Stand EZ rolls on center-weighted wheels and breaks down for transport.

Yes. Van Mark rates the Industrial Metal Master 20 EZ for 24 gauge Grade D painted steel and 20 gauge galvanized, based on standard coil and sheet. For other materials, ask us and we will check with Van Mark.
Do I need to buy a stand?
No. The Master Stand EZ comes with the brake.
Why pick the 6'6" length?
