Van Mark’s IT8-S is the 8’6″ Mark IV Industrial TrimMaster, an industrial brake for roofing and sheet metal contractors who bend painted steel on site. It bends a full 8-foot piece in one go, so drip edge, gable trim, sidewall and headwall flashing, and box gutter liners come out of one sheet.
The Mark IV pairs a 14″ throat with the same capacity as Van Mark’s 20″ throat industrial model. Ratings, based on standard coil and sheet, are 24 gauge Grade D painted steel, 20 gauge galvanized, .050″ 3003-H14 aluminum, 36 oz soft copper, .050″ soft zinc and 24 gauge 304L stainless. If most of your work is narrower than 28″, the 14″ throat covers it with less weight to carry.

Mark IV or Industrial Metal Master?
Both carry the same Van Mark capacity ratings. Choose the Mark IV's 14" throat for most flashing and trim, or the Industrial Metal Master's 20" throat for wide valley pans and caps.
Can I replace worn parts locally?
Van Mark builds its brakes mostly with standard off-the-shelf nuts and bolts, and says standard replacement hardware does not affect its warranty.
