Van Mark-3025 Optional Crown Molding Dies for TrimFormer

The 3025 crown mold die set is an add-on for the Van Mark TrimFormer. Fitted in place of the standard dies, it rolls a crown molding profile into aluminum trim coil as the TrimFormer travels down the brake, so fascia and trim pieces get a decorative detail instead of a flat face. Van Mark presents it as a way to add curb appeal to a house’s fascia and trim.

The TrimFormer (part 3015) ships with two dies, rib form (3019) and brick mold (3018). The crown mold set (3025) and the bead form set (3044) are sold separately. Dies swap quickly, so one TrimFormer can produce several profiles on the same job. Like the standard dies, the crown mold dies are made from smooth, high-density plastic that protects the paint during forming.

The dies work within the TrimFormer’s limits: light-gauge aluminum coil up to .024″, formed on a Van Mark cam-lock brake built in 2000 or newer, such as the Mark I Series, Mark II TrimMaster, Metal Master 20 and the industrial models; the Trim-A-Brake II does not take a TrimFormer. Van Mark publishes a “Fast Folds” video showing custom fascia made with crown mold, which is worth watching before the first job.

To use them you need the Van Mark-3015 TrimFormer, plus Aluminum Coil in your trim color and a Van Mark brake from the catalog. A TrimCutter gives clean, square ends on the finished pieces.
