About this product
The TrimFormer turns a Van Mark bending brake into a small profiling station. It attaches to the brake’s AccuTrack rails and is pulled along the length of a piece of trim coil clamped in the brake, pressing a die into the metal to form a raised rib or a brick-mold step. The result is custom fascia and trim with detail and added rigidity, made on site to the exact length you need.
Two dies come standard. The rib form die (part 3019) adds strength and a decorative line to long, flat pieces, and the brick mold die (part 3018) shapes aluminum trim to fit over existing window casing. Optional dies add a crown molding profile (part 3025) or a bead (part 3044). The dies are smooth, high-density plastic that protects the paint during forming, and four points of contact keep the tool on track so every piece comes out the same.
- Material: most light-gauge aluminum coil stock up to .024″.
- Brakes: Van Mark cam-lock brakes built in 2000 or newer, including Mark I Series, Mark II TrimMaster, Metal Master 20, Mark IV Industrial TrimMaster and Industrial Metal Master. It does not fit the Trim-A-Brake II.
